Evan Wilder began his involvement
in journalism in high
school and grew those skills at Baylor
University where he worked as a photographer at The
Baylor Lariat before becoming photo editor during
his senior year.
Evan attended the masters
program in photojournalism at the University
of Missouri-Columbia. In 2003-04 he was co-coordinator
of College Photographer of the Year
& Pictures of the Year International
photography competitions. In the summer of 2004 Evan
worked as an intern in the photo editing division of National
Geographic magazine. He is working now on the shift
from film to digital photography at the National
Geographic Society in Washington, DC.
